Model's you'd wished you never sold..
Interesting thread this I think. A while back I was quite short of cash, so decided to ebay some of my diecasts. One of them was a Lledo promotional Sentinel steam lorry in the livery of Frederick Dibnah esq, Steeplejack...I actually purchased this model from the man himself, and the certificate was personally signed by him too.
There was a bidding war on ebay, and it went for a tidy sum for a Lledo. wished i'd been able to keep it though, as Fred was one of my heroes.

I could never have sold that one Marty, but needs must sometimes. Like you I am a huge Fred fan and bought a live steam Traction engine with a Fred homage in mind. However to own something signed by him, would be fantastic. The closest I got was a mounted rivet from his workshop sold on E bay by the trust who owns his place to raise funds.
