Hi everyone
Dave Dalton signing in to the forum for the first time.
(I'm the one sending in most the truck brochure scans to CCMV.)
I still have my childhood collection of diecasts, mainly commercials with some agricultural items.
Not actively collecting models at present but if I spot something at a boot sale I will do a deal.
Also into Meccano (the other product of Binns Rd) and Scalextric.
Current project is building small Meccano model trucks to run on the tracks for exhibitions.

Re: Hi everyone
Hello Dave and welcome. I could add a Meccano section, as there are a fair few collectors of the stuff out there. Did you see Captain Slow's bridge on 'Top Toys'?
Re: Hi everyone
Thanks for the welcome!
One of my fellow club members was involved with the design & construction of the Liverpool bridge.
Good idea for a Meccano section or what about 'other Binns Road products'.
Quite a number I know are into Hornby railways which also spills over into the Dinky 'Dublo' series models.
There is a very active worldwide Meccano discussion group for builders and collectors called 'spanner'.
If anyone needs further information on that please get in touch and I will put up some links.
