Base Toys Ford D series

A bit of a crude model I admit, but for a fiver, well, you can't really argue..This is a cab swap & repaint. Was originally Leyland LAD cabbed, and now has the cab from a 6 wheel box body Ford D series. They come apart fairly easily, as the wheels are simply push fitted to the axles, and the cabs & bodies are screwed on. Cab bases are heat swaged in, but a bit of fettling with a twist drill & craft knife, and bingo..
