Yes it does get better Andy - the real thing.
I had one of these once - a nice blue one - despite the design being slated by traditionalists they were great cars to own and drive.
I once did Glasgow - Cambridge in something ridiculous like four and a half hours on a quiet Sunday.
I never really got out of the overtaking lane all the way - M74 - A66 - A1 & A1M and averaged about 90 mph - happy days.

TR7
Hi, a blue TR7 could start off a new collection? A friend of mine had one in the 80's that was an absolute pig but he still loved it when it wasnt in the garage! and still a greatly discussed, the antics he got up to in it!! for me it is the vision of Purdey at the wheel

Re: 1970s Dinky TR7
I've heard many horror stories about TR7's but I reckon my guardian angel was with me on the day I proudly bought mine. It even had beautiful wide alloys and low profile tyres but more importantly it never let me down - ever. I must have had her for about a year till a first baby caused the sale of the TR and the purchase of a 'sensible' family car. In all that time she was never in the garage and never gave me any trouble at all. Now my old Viva estate - that was an entirely different story!
As to Purdey - i agree - though I always actually preferred Diana Rigg. It was just by chance I was in the front row when Diana performed naked in the play Eloise & Abelard.

Avengers
Fantastic, cant compete with that. Emma is also my favorite and I have a couple of Corgi figures of her and Steed in my collection (which I will post at some time).
Hopefully you can help me? I have a Lotus Europa (red) which was one of Tara Kings cars, I am looking to make a mini diorama and I am after a suitable 1:43 female figure to make a representation of her, do you have any idea's?

p.s. Diana looked great in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" the first Bond film I watched in the cinema! not a patch on your claim to fame
