Red Wheel Batmobile 267
My latest Ebay purchase, just give it a good clean, full of dust and dirt, been after a genuine red whizwheel version for sometime but not been able to afford one. This was a bargain, poorly listed and very dirty, not perfect but very displayable! chuffed

I have the Corgi set from many years back (car, boat and helicopter) and the large scale plastic talking one from the seventies (which no longer talks). In the same series I also have the "talking Z Victor 4" Triumph 2000 which still works and says He's got a gun followed by Bang Bang amongst other things. Amazing what you pick up over the years

Yes your right, often people dont realise what they are selling, and that is also the beauty of ebay for sellers, because unless you really badly list something the collectors are all over it and wipe out the budget collectors (like me), some things poorly listed go through the roof, this week I watched a Corgi Bentley (Steeds green bentley, with no Steed) that was £8 until the last hour go for £157, I was astounded, but wondered what the seller must have thought!? (no mention of the avengers). In my case the batmobile I bought had 9 bids, but awful dark photos taken on their bath! couldnt see Batman and Robin sat in there and the wheels were very dark, could just as easy been very poor and thats the risk you take for a bargain!! I have been stung a couple of times but that makes it better when you think you have had a bargain.
Keb
Brilliant love to see some pics of your items?, I have an original Corgi batmobile (with red bat hubs) boxed with all accessories except the bat sticker (cant/wont pay £50 for one of those). I to have a few plastic models, Anglia's that I have'nt posted (it is a diecast forum!), although one is plastic and tin litho, does that scrape in as nearly diecast, maybe not!
thanks both for the comments and responses

Hi Andy,
I will when I get the chance to find them but they are somewhere in the loft , so it might take a while.
Cheers,
Kris.

Wide Wheels
also got a new Corgi Batmobile, the last 267 version with wide wheels. The worst really very cheaply made, its in the wrong box but the header is correct! hopefully pick up the correct box to go with the header in the future.
