Coles crane (Dinky 972)

I know this ought to be in the Dinky section but it is a crane and the heading was empty!
This is another favourite from my younger days and I never could afford one.
This example needs some restoration but is complete.
Branded as a Dinky Supertoy this model was priced at a whopping 17/6 in November 1956!
Compare this with a Dinky Leyland Octopus for 8/- in old money.
I haven't done any research on this but I'm sure that would be a LOT of money in those days.

That would have been a seriously expensive toy back in its day.
